Wet & Muddy

It's been rainy & cold here where I live and after heavy rain last night & an active dog wearing out the grass, our lawn has completely turned into a muddy puddle. Less green, more brown.

 

A walk in the woods

 This is what June looks like in the countryside at the moment, a beautiful lush carpet of green, such a welcome change from the winter months when everything is dark and wet. I love this time of year here in England as there is just so much green!

Autumn turns to winter

In my part of Australia, just north of Sydney, winters are fairly mild. 

We've recently had a significant patch of rain so it's been  lovely to see the sun & some blue sky this week. 

 As winter approaches the temperature is noticeably cooler and the autumn trees are looking barer. 

 

As spring turns to summer

The bees are buzzing, the hedgerows are full of cow parsley and roses are spilling into my garden from next door and it really feels like summer is just around the corner in London.
