Seagulls

 Our February theme will be Summer on the water. Summer has been sunny and warm in Sydney and we have both had a chance to spend quite a bit of time by the sea.
Seagulls are a common sight at the beach, flying low over the water or just waiting nearby for someone to drop their fish & chips.

    I like the contrast of flying action with attentive stillness. You feel that at any moment the seagulls on the right will explode into flight.
